If you feel like the cause for your sinus infections is actually through airborne allergens, there are some things you can try to reduce the likelihood of this occurring.
If you don’t already have an air filter, invest in one right away and make sure that it is high quality!
Changing the filter at least once a month is also something significant and something you should remember to do.
Be sure that you vacuum at least once a week and even more regularly if you have pets and it is unusually hot outside.
Harmful allergens can also be sneakily hiding inside your air ducts so attach a cloth to the inside to prevent this from happening.
An air purifier will make your home even cleaner and is worth considering if your sinus infection is particularly severe.
I discovered that my recurring sinus infections were due to allergens rather than an intolerance to particular foods.
After I made the necessary changes to my home, it drastically reduces the symptoms of my sinus infection, and when I did experience discomfort, I put some effective home cures into action.

You need to keep in mind that even though certain liquids are right, other fluids are not.
Things like alcohol, sugary drinks and coffee can make you even more dehydrated which could make your infection worse.

Massaging of the face can cost nothing at all (if you get a partner on board to help,) and it’s proven to be very useful.
A facial massage will take yourself or somebody else around five minutes to do, and it can help to open up those sinuses once more. The best way to massage your face for a sinus infection is to start by rubbing your hands together to warm them, before applying a small amount of oil to your thumbs.
Locate the indentations of your eye sockets, which are either side of the bridge of your nose.
Use the thumbs to apply pressure to these areas and move them back in forth in a gentle circular motion.
You can complete this message by using your index and middle finger and placing them on your cheeks, just next to the nostrils. Apply constant pressure to this area before moving your fingers in circles around the cheeks.

The benefits of using natural herbal remedies for sinus infection
There are both over the counter and prescription drugs that you can take for your sinus infection depending on the severity of your situation and what has been recommended by a doctor.
The reason why I would recommend natural herbal remedies for sinus infections rather than these is actually for some purposes; In general, I feel that these natural herbal remedies for sinus infections are much safer.
Drugs carry a whole number of chemicals and other ingredients that might have various side effects.
When you are using natural and plant-based products to treat your condition, you know EXACTLY what you are putting into your body, and you can be rest assured that you are doing nothing but nourishing your body!
Drugs more often than not, give you the “placebo” effect, rather than doing something genuine to get rid of your sinus infection at all.
It is also generally a lot cheaper to use these kinds of methods because of the ingredients cost next to nothing.
If you experience regular sinus infections, paying for prescription drugs on a regular basis could prove to be very expensive! I tried over the counter medication, AND natural remedies for my sinus infections and I found the latter to be much more useful.
